In 2016-2017 I was elaborating with the idea of simply letting go entirely of subject matter.
In this process I started randomly drawing sketches.
I had previously worked for several years with untangible color fields.
"What are those?" One might ask.
Well, its the stuff in the corner of your eye. The unfocused. The mess of ie. dark blue hues etc.
It started when I painted a large piece back in 2010 where I had cut out almost 100 individual characters. All monochromes tossed on the hues of the canvas - it sparked me.
I kept returning to these forms and it became these 11 pieces.
I think they are all sold?
I hope they can offer some inspiration and joy.
