Why Plotivy exists
I built Plotivy to make scientific plotting fast, reliable, and accessible for researchers and students.
As a scientist, I know how a “simple plot” can turn into hours of frustration instead of insight.
What it costs to run
Running Plotivy currently costs me about €40 per month for hosting and AI services.
The user base is steadily growing and already larger than I expected, but it’s still not big enough to sustain these costs on its own.
Why I keep doing it
I continue developing Plotivy because I genuinely love this project.
It’s rewarding to see people save time, improve their work, and focus on the science instead of fighting with plotting tools.
