Elon Musk is the worlds Nambawan Richest Man after Jeff Bezos. He was once asked by a BBC correspondent on what were his secrets towards being the richest man from Having Nothing. He responded with the 6 secrets listed.
I would like to use the six secrets into PNG context and how we could help ourselves to do successful businesses using his secrets.
1. It isn't about the money.
To start a SME business, you must forget about the money part of the business. Just take it as another job of yours where it will pay for your daily needs and wants.
Do your business like you are working for someone else. Having the thought of money will already cloud your plans for expansion of your business. Do it slow..do not rush ..money will pour in, hence do not concentrate too much on the money part. Concentrate purely on your job in your in business.
2. Pursue your passions.
Any business you wish to start must be through your passion and taste for it. Do not get jealous of someone's business and imitate him or her. Eventhough the business may pay less, it's what you are good at. Be proud of it and do your business with passion and pride.
3. Don't be afraid to think big.
Just like the famous story of Ben Carson, Think Big and Think Ahead. When you are doing a trade store business, believe in your self that the trade store will one day be a whole sale.
When others see your small store as nothing but just as a ordinary store, you look at it in the different way, look at it as huge wholesale.
Believe in yourself. You will eventually achieve it.
4. Be ready to take risks.
Doing business is all about taking risk. Trust someone even if you dont know him when it comes to business deals. If the deal Fails, it's just once, never loose Hope. A bad deal will always lead you to a better deal after knowing all the pros and cons of the dealings.
Business is risk. Never complain when you fail. Never Give Up when you fail. Every hardwork always got a price.

5. Ignore the critics.
Dont believe in others. Believe in yourself. Embrace people who give good advices but ignore critics. People will always say this and that at the back of you. They are only trying to pull you down.
If you are a university degree holder and becomes a taxi driver in your own taxi, your colleagues and friends will blaspheme you at your back. But they don't see what you are seeing. You are eyeing for success while they will only be stagnant in their life.

6. Enjoy yourself.
Enjoy any business you are engaged in. Be proud of your business. Always Enjoy your work in your business. It's your life. It's the future. No one will do it for you. Be a workaholic. Satisfy yourself every day from the work in your business.
The More You enjoy your work in your business..the more the business will grow.
Finally, Dont think about money because the business you are doing is your passion. Think Big by Taking Risk and Ignore people who wants to Pull you down.
