WHAT IS GITEA?: 'git' service/platform software. Much like the popular github.com or gitlab.com, the interface is one you can host yourself and access using web (even git command). Gitea is an amazing project/alternative to Github/Gitlab (based on Gogs).
While I have no affiliation, after discovering standard Tor Hidden Service method did not apply here, and finding/figuring out a method I had not seen documented, I put this together. And decided to share it (work in progress- I have made other changes I will update).

I setup a Gitea server as a Tor Hidden Service (.onion) a few weeks back and started sharing more on the process by beginning the install (conversion) script + required NGINX config file. Make sure to read the README.md.
This script has yet to be tested (use at your own risk for now), but if you do run into issues, leave a comment. :)
