MONDAY MOOT #72 | Language & Perception

On the coalface of trying to interpret the past, we're always looking for (and open to) new ways of viewing the evidence that we have and like to play with tilting the kaleidoscope to see what new views may snap into focus. One key element of perception is language and the very words we use to describe our cosmos - together with, of course, the vernacular within which they're contained. We have a quick conversation just to make the point that sometimes the language we have may be an obstruction to ever understanding the past unless we are conscious of its limitations.
