I always pass by the housewares at our local grocery superstore to see if they have any canning lids. I'm always disappointed...until today! ;-)
I usually just glance over at the canning section, but today I walked all the way over. In the place where canning labels have been for the last few months, 3 shiny new boxes of wide mouth lids were their waiting for me, begging me to pick them up and take them home.
Now they are happy and have a purpose in life. ;-)
Keep looking! You never know when you are going to come up on some homeless canning lids!
