Dad's last business was a pool company. He did really well for himself and made a lot of people happy. He never built his own pool because he didn't have a big enough backyard.

So, he gifted us a pool when the kids were small. We've had a lot of fun with the pool, parties and backyard bbq's. But now, I get to play "the pool maintenance man" all the time. And no, my wife doesn't think it's sexy for some reason. Maybe I should call myself Fabio when I'm working on the pool.

I digress...

Anyway, this time it was only a capacitor. It's a pretty cheap part and easy to fix, a lot cheaper and easier than putting in a new pump or a new board. <--- I still have PTSD from that one.

The issue was that no one had my capacitor in stock. The pool supply told me it would be 4 days. Well, with this heat, I didn't want the pool sitting there that long without circulating.

I found two on Amazon for super cheap and had them here in 1 day. I now have one as a backup. With this Texas heat, I'm probably going to need it.

And thank the Lord, everything cranked up nicely. ;-)

Don't mind the leaves. They are part of my backyard decor! ;-)

You can tell a capacitor is bad because it won't sit flat and wobbles.

Tiny bubbles...is what I like to see.

Dang pool! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Peace,

Todd
