Singer-songwriter and actor Rae Leigh featured on episode 4, season 2 of the hit NBC universal TV show ‘Young Rock’ with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as a Nashville singer in the 80’s covering Dwight Yoakam’s ‘Honky Tonk Man’ in the same week her single ‘Push Em Up Jill’ produced by Angus Gil hit number one on the Australian National country radio airplay charts with her next two singles hitting the same chart at #8 for Blue Shoes and #10 for Love Me. All right before her debut appearance at the Tamworth Country Music Festival 50th anniversary in 2022 and headlining at Groundwater Country music festival in the Gold Coast in November 2022. “I develop inspirational and entertaining stories within music and film that enrich the lives of those who get to experience my art.” - Rae Leigh Rae is an active collaborator having worked with songwriters both in Australia and Nashville, TN (USA). Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) grant was awarded to Rae Leigh for the development of her single ‘Love Me’ produced by Nashville based Australian producer Michael Flanders and mastered by Grammy award winning Brad Blackwood Rae maintains a busy performing schedule, performing locally as well as around Australia. In 2021, she co-headlined with Adam Brand at the MMG 85th Fun Fair (Rosebery, Tasmania) and ANZAC Day Vietnam Veteran Reunion Event (Bairnsdale, Victoria), She is performing at the 50th Anniversary Tamworth Country Music Festival in April 2022 and toured; Brisbane, Melbourne, Tasmania and Gold Coast in late 2022. She’s worked with Kross Kut Records on her single ‘Blue Shoes’ which was optioned for ‘Young Rock’ when she was on the show. Rae Leigh is also the founder of Songwriter Trysts podcast - an online platform giving visibility and support to other songwriters.
