The core vision for Rae Leigh Music is to develop inspirational and entertaining stories in music and film art forms. Songwriter Trysts works to promote the art of songwriting and encourage collaboration, education and showcase live music within the music industry transparently and with integrity. South by Southwest, abbreviated as SXSW and colloquially referred to as South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences organised jointly that take place in mid-March in Austin, Texas, United.As an emerging singer songwriter, actor, writer and supporter of the arts through Songwriter Trysts getting to this conference will go a long way in developing myself as a professional in the arts and learning from the best to take things to the next level.The Australian government have generously given us a grant to help get over seas and help with the development marketing and growth of Songwriter Trysts and my arts in music and film. However this grant will only fund 50% of the trip and its granted post financial end of year. In other words we got to spend the money first to get the grant. I'm so excited to go and represent everything we as a team do and everyone we work with there but also to continue to network and look for collaborations and opportunities to develop on the core values of Rae Leigh Music and Songwriter Trysts.
