How long have you been playing D&D and how did you get into it / get started?

I've been playing D&D for about 4.5 years now and it grows on me more each and every day. What got me into it was the idea of role-play and creating a universe and the whole freedom of it! But it was actually my sister and her friends who invited me to play their first game with them (a one shot) and since then been hooked!!

Tell us about your favourite PC you’ve played and what made it so great.

Favourite PC that's a hard one, but if I had to choose it would be Urak the Gray from a campaign I am still currently playing in with DM Dan (Finry) as the DM. Urak the Gray he was a kobold druid was a very odd choice but I made it work. He even had some custom googles made up by the DM which would let me see in daylight. Unfortunately he didn't make it fighting off Strahd and his minions and he perished holding them back so his new friends could continue on.

If you DM, what’s your best tip for future DM’s out there? (Or equivalent for a player)

As a player and a DM all I can say is have fun! Try not to be too serious on the rules. If your players come up with something let it play out - see if they can actually pull it off. Now back to the rules, I see them as only guidelines that you can change to suit the players play style or even yours. Another great tip is to hold a "session zero" with your players - build the characters and maybe even tease the world with a short one-shot.

What’s one epic moment you can recall from one of your games?

One epic moment... probably the charity stream we did inside the giant titan. I played a fairy barbarian, it was hilarious fun. The moment for me was our guest PC that convinced this giant living hammer beast to go bother someone else and succeed in telling it to do so! It's just stuck with me, even now I still laugh.  But I have heaps of other epic gaming moments that I'll cherish thanks to some awesome DM's.
