The transition into a new season (even much-awaited seasons like summer!) can be tough in a normal year, but as we wade through the exhaustion of 2+ years of pandemic, there’s extra uncertainty, grief, and probably a mess of ALL THE FEELINGS piled on top.
So, we need self care (real, actually replenishing self care, not just clichés or “shoulds”) more than ever.
If you have a hard time adjusting, it's probably because transitions are hard and take a lot of energy to process, even positive ones.
If you feel unsettled or anxious around this time of year, there's nothing wrong with you.
The transition to a new season might just require a shift in your self care practices.
When you plan ahead for a seasonal shift, you'll have ideas ready to fit different situations and emotional states, and you don’t have to think too hard about it (always a plus!)
If this sounds like an area where you could use some support, join me for: 🌳🌳🌳 Build Your Seasonal Self Care Survival Kit (Summer Edition) - Th. 6/16 at 4pm PT
