There are only a limited number of people who can produce quality animation.
How will the success of "Your Name." affect the animation industry?
Although investment in animation will increase significantly, the number of talented staff members will remain small.
For example, if a 100-person staff used to make one animated film, but the number of animated films increases to 10, 10 people will have to make one film.
Or, 80 people might make one animated film, and the remaining 20 people would make nine animated films.
It is not all good.
Khara, inc, which was established in 2006, was conscious of giving back to the staff and the fans.
Khara has a 100% stake in Eva's "Rebuild of Evangelion" series, and profits are returned to the staff.
Therefore, if they make money, everyone gets rich, and if not, everyone gets poor.
Khara celebrated its 10th anniversary thanks to the support of the Eva content.
That is why we want to give back to the fans who have supported us.
For that reason, I would like to create a work that is worth more than the money we receive.
In addition, we have been working on the preservation of the original artwork and synopsis as a business .
Some of them are now on display at the "Khara, inc 10th Anniversary Exhibition" currently being held at Laforet Museum Harajuku (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo).
