Exodus 34:14
For you shall worship no other God. For the Lord whose name is jealous, is a jealous God.
I have seen people who come to the Lord, ask for things and they receive his blessings but they never believe in him alone. They go to idols. For them their stones are gods but not only Jesus.
I ask them why you do the wrong, they say we believe in all.
But their false gods never give them anything good. They know Jesus heard their cry and he blessed them also and still everything in their mind is worst thinking.
As a true Christian I will give glory to Jesus alone. I won't go to any other idol. I worship only one and he is my God, my Lord Jesus Christ.
My family belongs to Hinduism. They worship to idols but they never believe in Jesus. I don't know why they don't understand anything. If I tell them that your gods and goddess never respond to you and yet why do you call them, they say we are Hindu. This is our religion.
Actually they are blind. They hate Christianity.
Whatever Jesus bless them they will still worship others. They won't realize the truth and logic. They close their ears to gospels and they don't ready to read Bible. They can't see good in Jesus.
Truth is that they have been deceived by evils.
Few days ago, a boy here in my room was worried about his job. He went to Church with me, prayed there and God heard his cry. He answered and gave him a job as software engineer in TCS, a multinational company.
Fact is that he is not thankful to Jesus at all. He never appreciate Jesus. He still worship to his false gods who never help him during troubles.
People forget the good. They are not ready to accept the truth because they never seek him. So many examples I can give where they don't realize Jesus is real and only he answers to all problems, even after they experience his miracles in their lives.
What about Christians?
The same problem is happening in Christianity also. Some Christians have been deceived by evils, they marry to girls who are not Christians in front of false gods and goddess. They really need to understand that it is not about religion and beauty.
God wants we obey his commands that can only be solution to our all problems. A true Christian girl who is devoted to Jesus and worship him in her heart and mind she is able to build your family, the same formula applied in boys' case too.
But if you marry an atheist or girl of other religions what about them?
In troubles they will break up with you or they will run to their false gods but they will never come to Jesus because they are not chosen by the Lord.
He is a jealous God, if you go against his commands then be ready to face his anger as it happened to Israelites.
A Christian is completely transformed by Jesus through so many difficulties in different seasons to fulfill godly purpose in this world, only to glorify God. When you choose idols to stay with them, your soul will fight to their evil natures.
Worshiping to Jesus only is the real character that you need to see in a boy or girl when you will meet. If they don't have it, just quit the relationship. Come to the Lord and ask for forgiveness. Ask for his guidance in your life. He will give you what you need.
Have faith, wait upon the Lord for right time.
Worship no idols but come to the true and living God, who answers to your prayers and bless you according to his will and riches in Christ Jesus.
Chosen generation, never go against the God because his name is jealous and he is a jealous God.
