Proverbs 2:6
For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
As you are too much attached to the world I know you are feeling like you are loosing your peace. It happens to mostly chosen generation. In Bible we see God has given priority to knowledge and wisdom because with you will live to your godly purpose.
Before you ask something to God, you to need to be clear about the things what you will pray to him. The spirit inside you will direct you what to speak and not. To have a relationship with the Lord you need to understand him properly who he is actually and what is his will for your life. Hence you need to read Bible everyday!
The worldly things are nothing. They will be dead someday and you will leave this house. The knowledge you gain from your school and college only can give you jobs but it can't give you true freedom and peace.
In prayer you will speak the words of God and hence you need heavenly wisdom. Until you ask things that are against God's will, you will be failed and depressed. Bible says seek first the kingdom of God and everything will be added into your life. It means you need to seek God first. In him you will be revealed and your spiritual eyes will be opened. You will learn the truth about him and his kingdom and it will set you free.
If you don't be ready with his words, you will be attacked by different things which are against God. You will be deceived and it may be very hard to return to spiritual life.
Christianity doesn't mean you will only pray God and he will give things to you to enjoy life with your family and people. God doesn't let it happen to his children. He let us go through valleys and fire. So that we will keep seeking him.
He hears your cry but he doesn't respond the way you want. That time the wisdom that you get from God helps you to overcome the worst situation. God's burden is lite. If you think he is intentionally letting to you to go through suffering, then you are right about it.
Behind your pain he has a purpose for you which is locked. Only you can open it by the help of heavenly wisdom and knowledge. In the mission you are not alone. He has sent you his holy spirit to guide you and lead you to life and freedom. He has a plan for you to give you future and hope.
As you grow with God's wisdom you will have assurance of his peace and love.
It is about me...
Just a month ago, as I was being persecuted in my office I prayed God for freedom and asked him to reveal his plan for my life. I said God I am 27 years old now, how long I will move here and there. I need establishment and a settlement in my life. I want to marry. I want to live independently and travel all over the world. I want to have peace, rest and freedom.
God heard my cry and next day the situation forced me to left that job. After that I didn't look back. I keep praying God.
Yeah, I also failed so many times, faced distraction but they all happened for my good. I failed because I was fighting to God, against his will; and for my will to be done. I didn't learn his plans for me is beyond my imagination and my thoughts are not his thoughts. He has things for me that I did never imagine and dream.
God said to me, son trust my plans and ways. I will never let you down. I know what you need and I will give you that, but you will have to wait for me. I will lead you. I will show you the right ways. Prophecy fulfilled in my life. He did what he love to do. He changed my thinking. He changed my attitude and behaviors. He helped me to have a relationship with God and holy- spirit. During the journey I learnt about gratitude and thankfulness that I did never practice before.
He showed me his unaccountable blessings in my life that I was not grateful to him. Since years I was only complaining to God about my lack. I was thinking God doesn't care about me, he has left me in the circle of pain. I was wrong!
He told me to keep God first in everything. He gave me wisdom and knowledge to understand things and realize my mistakes.
God knows what you lack and need to gain.
As you will have an intimate relationship with God he will tell you secrets of each and everything. With this, you will have his shield and sword to fight against evil's plans and works. You will be transformed into completely new in him, who will live to eternity.
And through the wisdom and knowledge you will be a part of God's mission to bring his glory and kingdom to this world. You will be the reflection of his light to the people who live in darkness and need to come out of it.
This is the God's will for your life!
