Why do we need to obey God's commands?

Deuteronomy 4:2

Do not add to what I command you and do not substract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.

Sometime we feel what God asks us to do is not good. We doubt on his words and we keep avoiding his commands. I understand it, the way of the God is not straight. It is narrow and on the journey you will find so many difficulties that will force you to give up.

But if you listen to him and obey what he says you will surely be blessed. He will not just give you what you asked but he will give you more. He is the God of righteous and he loves to be with his holy people.

God's commands are not too hard that you can't keep. They are trustworthy. They will keep you safe and secure on your Christianity.

God is full of wisdom and knowledge. He does know how far you can go. After all he has made you in his image. He is very kind. He will forgive your wrong doings until you don't know your actual way. When the right time will come, no one can stop God. He will come forward and he will limit your free will. He will never let you do sin any longer.

It will happen before he is about to reveal his plans and purpose for your life. He will begin to sustain you. He will strengthen your faith in Christ Jesus. He will help you to pray more. He will teach you how you will keep his commands to live the life best and holy.

About my life?

After giving my life to Christ in year 2019, I was still involved in sin. No man in this world is perfect. So me. I was doing adulteries, hating people and spreading bad about them. I was not praying God always. Every time God forgave me. He kept himself silent for my sin until I crossed my limit. Hence he allowed evil to attack me very badly.

Suddenly, one morning I felt sever pain in my both kidneys, my entire body and lost my health. I still didn't go to God for healing. I trusted doctor and requested him for cure. Nothing healed me completely.

As it continued I began to realize my sins and what wrong I did in my past also. I realized my disobediences to God's commands. I cried out for help to him. I prayed and asked for a solution. God didn't heal me immediately. He told me that I should first ask for forgiveness. I should confess my sins to God openly and ask him to wash me to clean by his precious blood.

I trusted him. I confessed my sins boldly and he began to open my eyes. He told me to surrender myself in his hands.

After that I didn't go to any doctor for consultancy. God didn't give me money for it. I stopped taking medicines.

Now my only trust is God. I believed that he is the healer and doctor of all. He has given me the life, he will have mercy upon me and renew my body. He did it gradually. He transformed my life completely.

God told me to forgive all. In my office I was not talking to a boy for 2 years. In my eyes he was a very bad guy. Every time he was making fun of me and for this reason I had insulted him many times in front of all. I forgave him and made friendship with him. God helped me to do that from both sides. Now he respects and honor me.

After leaving my office job, everyone there miss me. They appreciate me till the day!

I left all kinds of wrong doings and sin. I stopped masturbation and looking at girls in wrong ways. I didn't watch porn any longer because I forgave my past!

God blessed me exceedingly and abundantly in all areas of my life. He gave me honor and respect in my job. I got hikes in my salary two times in two months of gaps. My family felt very proud of me because I could provide them very well.

Now I live peacefully and happily. I have freedom and testimony to share.

Everything happened good to me just in few weeks because of my obedient to God's commands!
