Hello! After continuously getting kind and positive feedback about my composition and music theory articles on Audiotuts from years ago, I decided it was time to start a YouTube channel!
I'm making videos for composers and producers of instrumental music. New videos are coming out every week about composition, music theory, harmony, orchestration, film scoring, and how to write music for film, TV and video games!
I'm a composer for Netflix, Disney, ABC, NBC. I love figuring out and talking about the way writing music works, and believe in always going back to fundamentals, searching for overriding theories of form and structure, and trying to connect the roots of good music across all genres and styles. A difficult or confusing topic in music can always be better understood through a metaphor, and finding those is always fun!
