Wind Cave National Park is in the southwestern corner of South Dakota. It's known for the vast, underground Wind Cave, with chambers like the Post Office and the Elks Room. Many of the cave’s walls are rich in honeycomb-shaped calcite formations known as boxwork. Join me as I take the guided Fairgrounds tour into the depths of this incredible cave. Wind Cave can only be visited by tour, I'm guessing it's too easy to get lost in there, but I would have loved to spend a couple of hours in there, alone.
