Wediombo beach is located in Jepitu, Girisubo, Gunungkidul, 80 km from the city of Yogyakarta. "Wedi" means sand, and "Ombo" means vast. The beach is known from its vastness, and of course, its beauty is undoubted. Pulang Syawal beach is 65,8 km from the city of Yogyakarta. It is more popular with the name "Indrayanti" beach. Indrayanti is actually the name of one of the many restaurants there. The beach is a long stretch of sand lined with the ocean on one end and gazebos of restaurants, tiny shops and others on the other end.
