A series of 6 online classes for women that will introduce you to the foundations of Kundalini Yoga. You are welcome to attend the series or take part on a drop in basis.
Each week we will explore a different aspect of Kundalini Yoga. By the end of the six weeks you will have a strong foundation and be able to set up a home practice if you wish.
Themes we will explore over the 6 weeks include:
• The roots of Kundalini Yoga
• Pranayama or breathing
• Posture and an open heart
• Sound and mantra
• Understanding mind and meditation
• Yogic anatomy and the chakras
• How to design your personal practice
Kundalini Yoga offers something for everyone, regardless of age, level of experience, body type or physical condition. It is for anyone who wants to relieve stress, be healthier and happier, be more relaxed, and feel more alive.
These classes are specifically tailored for anyone who identifies as a woman. We will explore hormonal balance, connecting to our sexuality, developing our physical, mental and emotional strength so that we are able to function optimally. We will end each class with a deep relaxation that will facilitate a good night’s sleep.
Dates: 13th, 20th, 27th July, 3rd, 10th, 17th August
Time: Each class will start at 7.45pm and end at 9.15pm (UK time)
Sara Domville is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and personal development coach, currently training as a psychotherapist and mindfulness teacher. She co-facilitates Changes, a monthly yoga and mindfulness workshop for women experiencing perimenopause or menopause.
