With the recent announcement that the Mister Supranational 2022 competition is to be held on July 16th, we believe that there's not enough time for a proper national pageant to be held for Mister World Philippines.
As such we believe that the Philippine reps should be appointed after a series of screenings/ castings for the two titles up for grabs. And we already have two gents in mind for the titles of Mister World Philippines and Mister Supranational Philippines.
First of, we have our pick for Mister World Philippines. Standing at 6'2" is Kirk Bondad who were among the strikingly handsome fellas that screened for Mister World Philippines.
IMHO, we should just appoint Kirk as the Philippine rep to Mister World. He is smart and a good sense of humor, he is tall which seems to be the preference of the Mister World pageant, and he is already in great physical shape for the grueling sports challenge. This German-Filipino's modeling experience would also help him out in the topmodel challenge. Not to mention he is popular enough among pageant fans for the Mobstar/ popularity voting.
Add to that is his age, he is around 27 years old which is within the 29-30 age limit of the Mister World pageant.
We probably only just need to figure out what to do for the talent part for the competition.
With not much time to prepare, we think that it would be best to appoint Raed Fernandez Alsughayer to compete for the Mister Supranational title.
And why not? He stands tall at 6'3", has amazing body proportions and is very good looking. He speaks 3 languages namely English, Tagalog and Bisaya.
Add to that is Raed's 2nd Runner up finish at the Suprastar search earlier this year which gives him an advantage over other candidates in the competition. Being a familiar face with the international organizers would certainly be an advantage and would perhaps be added brownie points for him in the contest to be held in Malopolska, Poland.
Hopefully that announcement of his appointment would be made soon to give him ample time to arrange for travel papers to the host country.
