Okay, I’m officially giving up on trying to get this newsletter out on time. Somehow the first half of every month seems to last like three days, and the second half drags on forever. So as far as my brain’s internal calendar goes, it’s still October 1st.
“But Rosie, why don’t you just write the newsletter ahead of time?”
Ya know, I’m not really sure. It would be a good idea. It would make my life easier. Let’s blame this one on executive dysfunction, shall we? Or, if you prefer, you can blame it on regular dysfunction. Both of these rule my life in equal measure.
Either way, you can still use my habitual lateness as an excuse to snag 10% off your next order from my Etsy shop!
Just use the code FASHIONABLYLATE at checkout. (Valid thru 10/31.)
So what’s new in October?
Well, for starters, it’s ADHD awareness month!
For those of you who aren’t aware, I am a proud ADHDer myself! (That’s where the “scatterbrain” part comes in). I was only formally diagnosed in January of last year, so I still have a lot to learn about my ADHD brain.
You can read about some of my experiences with ADHD in my past blog posts right here—and there’s a good chance I’ll be adding to this collection before the month is out, so stay tuned!
What else are we celebrating in October?
October 1: International Coffee Day
October 4: Taco Day AND World Animal Day AND Vodka Day
October 6: Noodle Day
October 9: Moldy Cheese Day
October 10: World Porridge Day
October 14: World Standards Day
October 16: World Food Day
October 20: International Sloth Day
October 21: Reptile Awareness Day
And, of course Halloween… Spooooky season is upon us, my friends!
Oscar and I have a pretty incredible couples costume planned, but I don’t want to give anything away. You’ll just have to wait for the photos.
Hey, remember last month when I said I was working on a gratitude challenge?
Well, if you’re following along on my Instagram stories, you’ll know that it’s in full swing!
It’s your typical 30-day challenge, and each day has a different theme with three prompts: an action prompt, a creative prompt, and a journal prompt. Feel free to hop in and out as we go, do them out of order, or just pick the ones that speak to ya!
And if you’re a sticker club member, you have exclusive early access to all 30 days of prompts right here.
Sticker Club, you say?
For this month, I thought I’d share some stickers that have turned out to be some of my best sellers on Etsy—the Polaroid collection!
In addition to some stickers of your choosing, each Sticker Club member will be getting a random assortment of Polaroid photo stickers to add to their collection. Hurrah!
Well, I guess that’s pretty much it. Happy trick-or-treating, people!
