COVID- WHO?

It is 11:05 PM, and I am still up after hours of research, planning, and organizing things for our teachers. I am now honored to be the instructional coach on my campus, a job I have dreamed of doing for years. I naturally LOVE to help others. And NOTHING will stop me from achieving my purpose. Not even COVID. It’s been a bit challenging rolling out virtual learning and classroom instruction at the same time. We have been working around the clock to make things perfect for our students. But we still need more tools to help our students succeed. I need online tools to become more organized and save time. I can’t even tell you how many parents I called today. And I LOVE it! And there are resources that require paid subscriptions for teachers that I LOVE, it’s just we don’t have the funds. I need an IPAD so I can hook it up to the TV, so students have videos to watch. IPADS or tablets to read on or complete online learning would be wonderful! I have seen EVERY teacher and staff work together and complete tasks and duties that are beyond their job description. Somehow, I even taught 7th-9th grade math classes last week. I created 5th grade virtual classrooms and curriculum, witnessed our counselor cleaning off lunch tables, our principals in the heat at car lines, and Spanish teachers covering for our nurse. And SO. MUCH. MORE. Thank you to our parents that offered grace when things took a little longer, or when technology was changeling. All I know is we got this! Because we are too stubborn to give up, and we are channeled and gifted with a purpose. And that is to love and serve your children. And THAT will never change. No matter what.
