Communion for the wanderer in us all through a 1-hour creative advising session with Shelby

Let's break away from productivity and hustle to wander through meaningful conversation over coffee together. It's resistance to take a break from the daily grind so we can slow down to connect with one another, listen to our lives, take stock of our actual resources, and respond to our creative souls.

Coffee Break is for you if you are:

• Dreaming of a complex creative project or developing your personal branding, and would like expert guidance on how to make progress without the commitment or investment of a traditional brand audit or consultation.
• Looking to turn your creative practice into a business, and want to gain insights and lessons learned in my 14+ years as a self-employed freelancer and small creative business owner.
• Untangling from a messy move or transition, and want to move intentionally through this season of upheaval.
• Fantasizing of creating a purposeful sabbatical or pilgrimage, but it feels impossible to get away or resource yourself for this kind of thing when you’re self-employed.
• Wanting permission to follow your creativity and curiosity, or be reminded that your productivity does not define your worth or humanity.

We do our best clarifying, visioning, and intention setting when we have a witness who's been there. I would love to be that fellow sojourner with you. Bring your curiosity and vision, and I’ll meet you there with my experience, resources, my superpower of steady presence, and a hot cup of coffee.

Coffee Breaks meet 1:1 in person (Denver area) or virtually. I can walk with you individually as an advisor and fellow wanderer in any of these areas.

• Creative business + creative practice

• Intentional wandering (travel, sabbaticals + moves)
• Launching creator platforms outside of social media (Substack, Buy Me a Coffee, Etsy, etc.)
