Annigeri human skulls

In 2010, over 600 skulls were found during the construction of drainage in Annigeri, near Hubli town in Karnataka. Radiocarbon dating placed them around 180–200 years old. They are believed to be the remains of the victims of the great famine from around 1810–1830.
