Thanks everyone for the best wishes, emails, cards (thanks for that Dafingers!!!) it's meant a lot to hear from you guys during this tough time.
The day of my surgery was pretty rough for me and also for Mrs. Slot Car News. I had to be re-intubated because I wasn't waking up from the anesthetic, a few hours later I woke up with that tube still in my lungs (my right lung had to be collapsed for the surgery so they could get to the gland. I woke up to them doing the Niki Lauda to my lung (if you've seen Rush you know what I mean).
The rest of the time has just been being sore, coughing but thankfully, yes thank God... sleeping well.
Even though there's lots of news to talk about I will not do any video this week to replace the one that's already scheduled that I shot last Thursday.
So from Slot Car News HQ I want to thank everyone and say again that I cannot thank you folks enough for the kindness.
I shot this tonight sitting at the news room desk LOL....
