When I started the @isitalollipop comics, I planned to feed myself hope in doses with it. I wanted to practice climbing back into a routine, and frankly couldn’t afford not to. A few things recently left me shaken, shattered, and simply struggling to find the motivation again. For a lot of things. But one thing’s for sure. I’ll find a way to be okay. To tell stories. To live to tell those stories.
I’m gonna be okay. I finally started drawing again this morning. I can’t promise when, but a new episode is coming hopefully soon. What you see here is a glimpse of that. I’ll also catch you up on what’s been going on in the studio as well. I’ve rebranded my Instagram to @snehio, launched an Etsy store that I feel to still fill, and switched from using a Galaxy Tab with the Tayasui Sketches app to an iPad mini with Procreate.
I’ve disappeared without meaning to, but I’ve appeared with meaning, too. And I can do it again. Thanks for trusting in me.
