With the departure of Jô from Corinthians, the club is looking for a center forward now in this mid-year transfer window that starts on July 18. Until then, Corinthians will play in the round of 16 of the Libertadores, against Boca Juniors (June 28 and July 5), and the Copa do Brasil, against Santos (June 22 and July 13). After Corinthians rejected the first proposal by defender Bruno Méndez, the board remains confident in closing the deal, if possible later this week.
