Nyree Giles Whittaker
Founder and host of Stolen Our Hearts, a podcast about ferrets and other exotic pets. Nyree is an experienced teacher, educator, and exotics owner who has personally cared for ferrets for over a decade. Previously, she has provided temporary foster care for animals in need and participated in animal rescue locally in Australia.
Through her social accounts, podcast, and coaching program, Nyree supports ferret owners to learn how to be confident about caring for their ferrets. Her work is centered around sharing information and providing proven systems that any ferret owner can incorporate into their daily lives, no matter their skill or experience level.
Ever an animal lover, Nyree’s passion for being an advocate for their well-being has been a theme throughout her life and career. Nyree and her husband share their home with three ferrets (Trixie, Marie, and Winnie) and a chihuahua (Freyja) in Adelaide.
