Hey Everybody, Welcome to my new segment where I recommend True Crime Docs that I indulge in. Hope you enjoy!
I just watched one of the most engrossing documentaries that I have seen in a while! It is called The Preppy Murder and I'm pretty sure it was one of the most frustrating documentaries I have ever seen (Other than Roll, Red, Roll, which is a topic to discuss another time). I have watched a lot of true crime docs and the fact that I had never seen this one surprised me. It was really well presented but left you with a sense of total frustration and a feeling like justice wasn't served. The family of the victim, Jennifer Levin, is heavily involved in this 5 part series, which I really like because I always believe that the victim is who these cases should be the focus of. But it also paints a really good picture of the perpetrator of this crime.
If you guys are like me and haven't seen it yet, I'll post a link where you can check it out!!
Hope you guys all had a lovely long weekend! We are recording Episode 14 tonight and it's going to be a doozy! Don't forget to listen to Story Crime where ever you listen to your podcasts, and as always, thanks for your support.
