When I started this podcast I figured it would be a long slog for a while. Pushing to get guests, pushing to grow downloads, pushing to find the budgets I needed to keep it going, and pushing to stay on topic.
Luckily it hasn't been a push in a bad way. Quite the contrary. It's been fun reaching out and producing this podcast in a way I can be proud of. This whole endeavor is a passion project and has only a stafff of 1. Me.
So let's take a look at what the last few months has brought the show thanks to you.
At the beginning of August, I was very much on pace. Then something happened on the 4th of August. The Extreme Ownership episode was featured in a newsletter and it just blew up. The listens have 2x the current traffic. The even better news is that it seems people are sticking around too. Right now August 2022 will be the best month on the podcast in terms of downloads. To date we are 250% more downloads than the next best month, and we're only halfway through.
