Hey my hiking friends,
I hope you are all doing great! This is Anusha from Taiwan Hikes. The latest post is about my hike from Mt. Pingyan to Mt. Duojiatun, a short name for Ping-Duo Hike.
This is a hike on a firebreak surrounded by spectacular Mt. Snow (Xueshan) and the Central Mountain Range. Although the weather was cloudy and gloomy when we were there, the views were still amazing.
While doing this trail, we saw various vegetation, including annoying bamboo woods, tall pine trees, and more. Not to mention we walked on the trail paved with thick pine needles.
What made this hike even more memorable was the endless ascending and descending, as you can see from the gradient of the following image.
In fact, this isn’t the only firebreak hike in Taiwan. I did a hike nicknamed ROMA a while ago, and I love it! The views, the high mountains, and the trail ice made the whole trip so much fun and enjoyable.
