Hey hiking friends,
Hope you are doing great. It's been a while since my last post. Finally, I've finished the first post of my Matsu Island hopping and hiking series: Nangan Island.
Unlike the most traveling on Matsu Islands, my friend and I took the most simple and yet challenging way to explore Nangan Island. We connected most trails on Nangan on foot and my step counter said I walked 39,000+ steps on my first day of Matsu. But, you can connect those trails via bus or ride a scooter at ease.
I know most people are interested in Blue Tears, and I would, too. However, summer is the high season and it will be very crowded almost everywhere on Matsu Islands. If you prefer to have a relaxing journey and are not afraid of the cold, visiting Nangan in fall or winter might be a better choice.
Hope you enjoy this post. Please stay tuned for my next Matsu series: Dongju Island. Take care and cheers!
