On Friday the 2nd of Sept I had the opportunity to go for a sail on a racing yacht with 9 other Veterans. Well, we were divided onto two identical boats, so a race we did have.
Here I am getting into it! I did get a bit wet when on a different tack and the gunwale went underwater. I loved it so much... The sailing activity was run by a local yacht club (BYC) Bellerive Yacht Club, for us as veterans through Mates4mates an Australian Veteran Organisation (ESO) this has fired up my burn to live on the water. on a yacht or a motorcruiser, one day we will see.
