This week has been all about media and meetings; I have had so many meeting with wonderful supportive and inspirational people on our little island. Not to mention on Monday I was interviewed by the lovely AJ on her Perfect Storm show on Monster Radio, we chatted, played music and also talked about this very project. The power of radio not only led to some donations but a very kind local builder stepped forward offering his services to those involved in the project at cost price. Thank you Matt!
As we speak the Gazette November edition is in print and as I am their very own weather girl too they agreed to let me have some space to talk about the project.
A local couple approached me also and I am honoured to have them involved. They have ran many charity events in Ireland and now will be doing all they can to help this project including food, toy and gift donations as well as a special secret way to conclude the December to Remember project.
I have also met with the board this week and we have put together some ideas to take us into 2021 ready for our next drive. There are lots of exciting things planned as we know that the issues we have will continue for the foreseeable future, so stay tuned.
