It's Ironic that to live a profoundly happy life you don't need much. All you need is good financial prudence, a roof over your head, clothes to wear, food to eat and just your family and friends. that's it.
Most People fulfil their basic needs by the time they reach 35 and yet they struggle for the rest of their life. The answer is very simple after a certain point they buy things not because of the real need but because they want to show off to other people. A bigger car or a bigger house or lavish spending on things is nothing but to impress other people and satisfy their egos. The moment you start caring about what other people think, you become their prisoner forever.
And that's exactly why most people on this beautiful earth live a very miserable life even though they have everything. material things only bring shallow happiness and limitless expectations. The fundamental cause of human misery.
Life is very simple. it's like a straight line.
