Episode 108 - Ignorance

Aug 01, 2022

In the wise words of Mark Twain (Father of American Literature)

"When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years."

Ignorance comes from not facing adversity, staying in your comfort zone, and letting your ego prevent you from learning.

The more we grow older, the more reluctant we become towards change and learning new things. When we refuse to learn, Ignorance simply thrives.

So, what's the Solution?

1. Once you stop learning, you start dying. No matter how old are you never say no to learning and wisdom. Don't let your ego come between you and the profound wisdom. Always remember, ego and Ignorance thrive from each other.

High Ego = High Ignorance.

2. As Winston Churchill once said

"to improve is to change and to be perfect It is to change often"

The more open you are to Change, the less ignorant you become. period.
