Dear youths

Feb 15, 2022

To all my young sisters & brothers out there, read & please read this carefully. You see social media has made it possible for people who have gone through the same experiences in life (good or bad), to come together on these platforms, and share their experiences with you. There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, I think it’s great especially for you. We are all like scientists who embarked on various field studies, and our reports are available to the public. Read our reports and take mental notes when you spot recurring patterns in life. In my village they say, “only fools learn from their own mistakes in a village full of people who’ve climbed the trees, they’re struggling to climb.” You are also a scientist, so you must challenge our findings or come up with better ways of doing things. Not for you, but for the next generation. However, you must never ever embrace other people's experiences as if they were yours because they are not, but learn from those experiences. On social media you will hear and read all kinds like, brothers are like this, sisters are like that. Nigerian Jollof is better than Ghanaian Jollof and vice versa, even though I think Senegalese Jollof is a much better version compared to those two, but I’ll swear I never said this.
