About Bumps
Bumps are a Portuguese garage rock band formed in Coimbra in 2021.
They have gone only through local gigs in Coimbra but are set to
come to other places in the future, they are composed by the Lead Vocalist
Silas Sequeira, bassist Fred Biscaia, drummer Catipanga, rhythmic guitar Chico
Baumberg and on the lead guitar Joshua.
Their sound is composed of energetic riffs and depressing
lyrics taking inspiration from bands like Joy Division, Nirvana,
The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, Liily, Bloc Party, Pretty Vicious and SOFT PLAY.
Their new Ep Summer Despair coming out 2024, includes tracks such as Tides, Feeble Star,
Bubble, Dive and Spiral and using lyrics related to the sea captures a melancholic
feeling that turns into anger when the song hits its peak.
