The Greek Gut: Abundant Flavours

Apr 21, 2021

There are a number of tasty kombucha brands spread all over the world and it is a beautiful bubbly revolution we are having! I believe every being who has embarked on making and sharing their kombucha are beings with some of the kindest hearts, hoping to spread ultimate gut health to the community around them, and in turn, the consumers evolve into more aware and loving individuals themselves. What more could we want for the world? In the words of Krishnamurti, "There is hope in people, not in society, not in systems, but in you and me." Why not evoke change with a simple beverage shared amongst each other? 🍻

💫 What makes our brand different from our humble competition?

We realized the abundance of herbs and flavors found in Greece that are not like any other. There is no coincidence why people who travel to Greece feel so drawn to it-- the dreamy deep blue seas, the warm sun kisses on our skin, and of course, the earthly aromatic foods and spices. While her soil hasn't been known to be strong, Greece is capable of adaptation, which is how it has come to be the home of many edible plants and spices. That being said, we strive to make our product as Greek as possible; we are talking, figs, watermelons, peaches, grapes, sage, mountain tea, lemons, saffron, you name it! We love a multitude of flavors found in other kombucha drinks, such as raspberry and passionfruit, but these aren't well known in this part of the world. This is our chance to show off our soul-enhancing flavors united with our health-balancing funky tea.

🧿 Our signature flavors and their back story:

° Hibiscus-Lemon | This tangy mix is our signature flavor popular among Athletes and focus-seekers. The lemon and hibiscus do a dance by exuding their sour-sweet essences leaving the body refreshed and energized.

° Lavender | Speaks for itself, doesn't it? Kombucha is naturally caffeinated, but our local organic lavender eases an anxious heart and brings inner balance.

° Mountain-Ginger | We know ginger isn't the 'Greekest' of flavors, but Mountain Tea sure is! Together, these two potent herbs set you free and transport you straight to your favorite hidden spot on a piece of Greek land. Hydrating and grounding, Mountain-Ginger sets you free.

🌬 Our Seasonal flavors:

This is our opportunity to experiment and see what tastes we like more and how to include them also into our future signature flavors as well. As we await summertime, here are the best seasonal fruits and herbs we have:

° Spring: Strawberry-Rose | Our most romantic flavor, the roses found next to Greek cobblestone paths are compelling in their aroma that they make you dizzy with love. While strawberries grown in Greece are some of the sweetest ever tasted, there's a pure joy to be cultivated when the season rolls around. The combination effortlessly fills you with love.

° Summer: (coming soon!)

° Fall: Apple-Cinnamon | Playing off of the traditional Apple Cider, cinnamon and apple were born to be together. Warming and soothing, preparing the mind and body for colder days to come.

° Winter: (2 flavors)
1- Beet-Tangerine | Beets here taste like the earth while the tangerines taste like the sun. This is a mix for the adventurous eater with less of a sweet tooth. While beets aren't known for their sweetness, they hold a hefty amount of sugar which the kombucha culture loves to feed off of.
2- Pomegranate | it would be sinister to not include Pomegranate as one of our flavors. Admittedly, it isn't made often due to its labor intensity, but the flavor is worth it. Pomegranate is the fruit of Greece, as it is portrayed through many myths and tales. Together with kombucha, we rewrite a new tale of a flavourful world.

Thanks for reading! Cheers and smiles ✌️
