In this quote (from the 1946 London Lectures, p. 39) Maria Montessori is talking about young children, 3 and under. She reminds us that children are wired to explore, to learn, and to grow from all the things around them. We don't need to provide more and more and more on our own time schedule, but trust this being and their ability to learn what they are ready for in their world...
