A COVID delay to local

A COVID delay to local

Apr 18, 2023

I have had such plans for the week, but they were put on hold.

I tested positive for COVID.

Last weekend, I had a horrid cold. I was in bed for the entire day. Sleeping. Lethargic.

My husband thought it was part of the flu that's going around. He had it as did several family members. When talking to one of our sons who had the flu, they discussed how they both felt so tired.

Same as me!

Then my husband mentioned something about a COVID test. Maybe that's what I was dealing with, he said.

Well, you know how that all turned out.

I am feeling much better today, but, after talking to the clinic, I found out I have to be home on quarantine for a few days and then mask when I go out or meet someone after that.

So that's put a lot of my work on hold.

And that's where I am right now, but I am feeling better and am at my creator studio. Okay, I am in my office striving to create. I have so many stories and had interviews lined up for this week.

And so it goes.

Life moves on.

I hope that you are feeling well and can escape this latest bout of COVID that is going around.

While I haven't had a huge appetite, I am eating local and am particularly enjoying the cherry tomatoes from Dave and Janet's indoor production for the winter time.

Woke up to snow on Sunday. Made so many of us grouchy as we were feeling springtime vibes until then. But those cherry tomatoes are a hit!

Enjoy and I hope you find something local to brighten your day!
