Happy Friday, Friends

First, I want to thank everyone for their ongoing support. Here's a short video highlighting the current state of the TTP Manpacks and EmComm Tools.

If you don't have time for the video, here's the high-level for the TTP Manpacks.

Currently finishing production of the first 25 bags. Email instructions have been sent to this group.
The first batch of 25 will ship before Thanksgiving.
We will start assembly on the second set of 25 bags (26-50) after Thanksgiving.
Once the second set is shipped, we will repeat the process for the last set of bags (51-75).
Everyone in the initial release (first 75 bags) will have theirs before the end of the year.

Is it still possible to get on the standby list for the TTP manpack? Would love to if possible. Thanks for the great content!

I went through the most initial pre-order and most of the standby list. The first 50 numbered bags are all sold out. I am no longer doing standby lists as too many bailed out and I sat on inventory for too long. Moving forward, I am announcing availability of each new batch to the members first, then 24 hours later, if there are still bags, I'll announce it to the one the one-time supporters. I am working on another batch of 25. ETA will be some before the end of January. shop.thetechprepper.com/

Thanks for the note. Yes, I found out yesterday and soon as it was announced. I called HRO within 5 minutes an ordered an FT-818ND with the MARS mod. So, I have a backup now. I knew this was coming. Hopefully, Yaesu will produce a modern replacement in the same footprint with 20 watts with a built-in sound card. An IP67 rating will be bonus. If there is a touchscreen, I am out. Happy New Year!

i jumped on ebay and grabbed the first one i saw, amazon went from 600 to over 1200 per radio. I found one on ebay for 599 new in box.,.

I'm looking forward to EmComm Tools being released to help simplify digital modes and field work.  Your manpack series has inspired me to combine my joy of hiking with SHTF comms preparedness.  I'd like to be on the waitlist for a manpack but understand you're overwhelmed with demand :)

Glad that content and projects are helpful. Unfortunately, the waitlist is closed due to the high demand. I can't produce the bags fast enough to meet the demand. Once I get through the current backlog of orders, I will make announcement next year when I have another 25 units ready. It will be first come, first serve.
