Musings OF AN INVISIBLE BLACK WOMAN

Feb 17, 2021

Why in America is the White woman supported in all she does while the Black woman is expected to be only life's cheerleader ? I get life is hard for all but it's especially hard for Black women who are seen only as someone's nanny or a hoe for pleasure but goddess help us if we have interests of our own. White women sell makeup or clothes or whatever and people jump all all over themselves sharing it. Black women do these things all we get are excuses or even worse ignored. White women write books they get applauded and " yassss queen " all day but Black women get ignored or in a lot of cases demeaned. It's tiresome. And I can write these feelings as a bona fide Black woman because I know for sure not one bloody damn person will read it or respond to it.

Being Black in this country is like being invisible. We're never seen unless people require us to be seen.
