It can be immensely difficult to find the right gift for a grandparent or anyone of retirement age. They have often reached a stage in life where they have most of the things they want for the house or the garden. They're probably not too keen to receive more 'dust gatherers' that will sit on a shelf and hope to be admired. And there are only so many boxes of chocolates you can munch through without risking a healthy living lecture from someone.
This year is a little different though. We've had a couple of hard pandemic years, and now we're faced with a cost of living crisis.
