This whole thing started over a decade ago when the two little goblins pictured above met at a friend’s birthday party. Like the two tiny widdle “please-cut-the-crust-off-mommy” imbeciles they were (and still are), they both arrived with their gameboys in hand, each with their respective copies of Pokemon Fire Red & Leaf Green.

Little did they know at the time that this would not only ignite one of the greatest rivalries in the history of the franchise (and we’re not just saying that because some absolute f*cking SEA URCHIN was using an action replay for unlimited rare candies AKA CHEATING AND FREEKING LIED ABOUT IT), but that it would also give birth to one of the most unbreakable friendships that this sad sad world has ever witnessed. (F*ck Frog & Toad, yeah we said it).

Since then the two of us have been inseparable. We experienced our first punk show together, started our first band together, and experienced a multitude of near-death encounters at each others side. We have been there for each other through physical and mental illness, self-harm, family issues, doubt, depression, and loss, and to be quite honest neither one of us would be the person that we are today without the other, hell we might not even be here. This might be due to a  saying we used to recite to each other whenever life felt like it was time to pile-drive us through the earth’s surface: “Not Us.”

 It might seem sort of simple and even somewhat stupid, but when the world was hitting us the hardest and we didn’t know if we were going to make through what came next, it helped served as a reminder that no matter what, as long as we had each other, we were going to keep on fighting through the bullshit together and keep on living.

So, what is KICKIN TEETH then you ask? 

It’s a community born out of friendship. 
It’s a place we want you to be able to turn to when all of the awful shit in the world or your personal life is just getting a bit too loud and you need to hang out with your friends and laugh maniacally in the face of oblivion to turn it all down.
It’s a chance for us to try and make a difference in the world by doing the things we love and following our dumb dreams, but also supporting your passions/dreams and celebrating what helps get you through the day.

Plus at the end of the day, we really are just two best pals who are fortunate enough to hang out with each other and play silly games/podcast every week, so why the hell wouldn’t we donate a portion of our proceeds earned from each month to causes/organizations that can make an impact when again all we really have to do is…act like neanderthals and become even greater disappointments in the eyes of our parents than we ever though was possible?

With all that being said, we are so damn ecstatic to finally share this unholy abomination we have given birth to with all of you, and cannot wait to clog your arteries with the same love that went into making it.

Omar you are my best friend in the entire fucking world and my blood brother til the very end (on account of that one time I was too scared to do real blood brothers so I drank the blood from your hand like that sexy vampire guy Edmund calverton or whatever his name is) and I am so humbled to have you as a part of this. I love you so much.

And to the rest of you wonderful creatures? Just remember, when life goes to utter hogwash and the awful gremlins in the world try biting at your ankles, we will always be to lace up our boots with you, AND KICK EM IN THE DANG TEETH!
