Hi y'all, this post has been a very long time coming. I owe several people refunds & with no incoming money from the shop, it was impossible to pay. Couple weeks of job-hunting, and I've gotten a job, and after settling up some debts so I could keep living under a roof, I am about to settle up these refunds with the next paycheck (recieving later this week). Etsy has suspended my account due to this delinquency, rightfully so of course, but because of that I cannot put this information in an auto-reply or anything like that- which is why some of you may have gotten a message with a link to this page.
Here's the plan:
Refund all 34 orders (from April - May)
If you are still interested in a reading from me, I will do it for free
If you are still interested in a reading from me, but not the reading you originally purchased, I will still do the reading you want for free
My shop will continue to be closed so I can process refunds & possible free readings until September.
There's really nothing I can say other than this has been an utter sh-tshow, I'm sorry to everyone that I've brought down with me with my despair and burnout, and this is not how I dreamed of running my shop. This isn't how I wanted to run it when I started and until I can run it how I think it should be ran, I have to keep it closed. I take this role a bit seriously, I think as a tarot reader people are coming to me for advice and putting their trust in me, and with these orders I have discarded and abused that trust. It's f-ed up of me to do that, and these refunds should have come long, long ago.
Other News
The divorce has been finalized, the judge brought down the gavel. Things have been finalized with my children, as well. Everything there is wrapped up nicely, and after a few weeks of journaling and just... being with that, I feel fairly okay. It should no longer be something I am struggling with, and it should no longer be something that subtracts from my capacity to live life.
