This page is setup in order to support the Patelesio family (Ana, Mahelino, Jipsy & Koloi), who were stuck under indefinite house arrest on Nukunonu atoll, Tokelau as seen in FreeNZ interviews with Liz Gunn.


The family are now relocating to the NZ mainland, and they need your help! Contribute up to any amount towards getting the family an airline ticket, and some setup costs for them to get safely set up in NZ.

Our very first priority is the air tickets from Apia to Auckland and then travel from Auckland to their home location. Because we are now in high season we need to raise $5K to cover the 4 tickets

The second wishlist item would be a computer for Jipsy and perhaps also for Koloi

Prezzie cards - so they can buy quality Winter garments or credits at an outdoor clothing shop would be wonderful! It is very cold here in Winter, we could easily spend several thousand just on merinos, hats scarves, jackets and quality socks and that would just be the basics. You simply must have quality warm undergarments here so that is a practical but quite expensive exercise for 4 people!
