It's not that easy to convince people to write every day. Not everyone is sold to the idea of journaling. Let’s face it, starting to write is hard. Therefore, it's almost impossible to convince people to spend money on something that will pay dividends only after a year.
That's why I'm experimenting with different ideas of sustaining the project:
1. Starting today, you can see a small button in the app footer prompting you to buy me a coffee. I don’t treat my side projects as a means of making money. So I’ve never earned any. That’s why I’m curious to see if anyone buys.
2. I'm thinking about introducing a plan 100% free for people writing daily and maintaining their perfect streak. Such a solution would only "punish" for skipping a day with a small $ fee.
What do you think? Would you be more likely to write every day knowing your credit card is in danger? ;)
In the end, the main advantage is to form the habit of writing!
