Hello everyone!
If you've landed here, I'm guessing you already know a little bit of who I am and what I do. I am a former paid stalker of a few Iditarod champion dog mushers who never truly gave up the stalking habit. I blog on the sport of dog mushing - especially the races that happen in Alaska. What started as a minor obsession with dogs and Iditarod as a child has now become a full-blown obsession with the sport, the dogs, and the peoples who love them.
Having been born and raised in Alaska, it might have been thought to be inevitable, but the sad fact is most of the people my age that I grew up with don't even casually follow the BIG race. I want to see that change. I grew up during the height of the sport's national popularity, and I would love to see the viewership grow and thrive.
So I do my part by rambling (like now).
However, in order to do more with my blog (and my photography) with this sport, I have to be able to afford to travel/take time off work. This is so far a hobby and probably always will be, but if you can find it in your year to "buy me a coffee/pizza/whatever" I greatly appreciate it. I'm not doing this for the $$, but it helps!
