With easy connectivity today, are we more able to resolve Life issues today compared to the people of yesteryears before the advent of smartphones and the internet?

People have gotten more street-smart, no doubt. Multiskilled and with higher level of health consciousness even.

Also, more concerned about inconsequential things like every type of comparisons against another person to justify happiness, for a sense of security (confidence, some think) and other inane reasons only the modern human beings recognize as hygiene factors of a personal nature.

That last one would be known to the closest of inner circle people. Like the when, what, how, how much, why, who and where of a person's preferences. From diet to toilet habits to requirements within a personal space (workspace, bedroom, wardrobe, toilet, ambience of dining or leisure space etc.)

Reflecting back to hardier times when needs were simpler, Life had seemed easier. Perhaps happier (without any complex prerequisites)?

Is this why one is admonished to keep personal socializing to a minimum? Behavioral copycats of certain refined affectations can be a major unhealthy disease prevented.

The same way high-priced torn jeans catch on and move from the fringe to be embodied by trendsetters, the center of attention.

Can we still remember how when Life was much simpler? Most important, is it possible now to live simple AND be happy ...?
